Anyeonghaseyo again! This is is the second installment of my spring travel in Seoul.
Here I'll be sharing more pictures that I took during the trip, so here we go. The title of this post is cherry blossoms galore so most of the pictures I'll be sharing here are pictures of cherry blossoms in different parts of Seoul we've been to. I'll try to remember where each picture was taken, so bear with me. And during this trip, we used a Sony DSLR camera.
This is in Yeouido Park, in the area where there is a trail where people can walk. I think it is inside the Nature's Ecosystem Forest, if I remember correctly.
This is also in Yeouido Park, but this is the road side opposite of the KBS building. The road is lined with cherry blossom trees. And the pathway is covered by a canopy of cherry blossoms.
This is again inside Yeouido Park, in the same area as the first picture. You see, during spring, almost everywhere you look, you see cherry blossoms, hence, the title.
This picture was taken at the Namsangol Hanok Village and Park. It was so beautiful having to see so many flowers everywhere I turned my eyes.
This was also in Namsangol Park, and this tree already has leaves coming out, not just the flowers.
Now, with a picture of just the flowers I have no way of recognizing where this picture was taken. Let's just say it is a picture of just the flowers, ha ha ha.
This was taken in Yeouido as well, and I just grabbed a branch to be able to say I touched the flowers. :-)
This is at the entrance of Yeouido Park, and this is a pathway for bikes and pedestrians alike. There are bikes for rent in the area so if one wants to explore the park on wheels, they definitely can.
This is the road beside the KBS building in Yeouido as well. You see the KBS logo on the shuttle buses.
I could not take enough pictures of the trees and the flowers. Look at that long row of trees blooming with flowers. Ahhh.
There were so many people enjoying the sight, not just us tourists but also locals alike.
This one was taken in the Namsangol Park. There are several areas in the garden as well, and this was one area where the trees are still quite small.
This was also in Namsangol Park and we just wanted to take a picture of the petals that already fell on the ground. They create a 'flower carpet', which looked magical to me.
The pavilion in Namsangol Park with the sister. You can still see flowers in the background so this should count, ha ha!
This was another area of Namsangol Park, I think on the way to where the time capsule for Seoul is kept.
This is also Namsangol Park- where the Seoul Namsan Traditional Theater can be found on the left side from where I took the picture. In this area is a hanok village, a theater and the park all in one so don't be confused by the name.
Again this is Yeouido Park with my younger sister. You can see we could not get enough of the flowers.
This picture was taken inside one of the palaces, whether it was Gyeongbokgung or Changdeokgung I cannot remember. But I just pretended to climb the tree.
There are also other colors, although not as common as the pink and white ones. This picture was taken in Namsangol Hanok village outside one of the hanok houses.
Here is the whole tree. It was just nice to see another variety as opposed to the ones I've been seeing everywhere already.
This is also inside Namsangol Park.
Tranquility at its best. I love how the trees are also reflected in the water. Beautiful.
This was inside one of the palaces again. Changdeokgung, I think.
A close up of one branch of flowers. They don't have a strong smell, so you don't get overwhelmed. It is just a feast for the eyes.
Yeouido Park again.
Still Yeouido Park.
Another shot with the sistah.
Namsangol Forest. That's what they called it. Inside Namsangol Park of course.
Another close up of the flowers. We've been to so many places I can not remember all of them.
This one was taken from a Pizza Hut window, We suddenly craved western food while we were in Insadong.
Namsangol Park again. This hut is right below the pavilion.
Namsangol Hanok Village. You can see the houses in the back.
These are buds that are just about to bloom. And I just had to take a picture of it. So there.
This was taken from the cable car going up to Namsan Tower.
Yeouido Park yet again. When did I ever get tired?!?!
So there. You might get tired looking at all the pictures, but then again, I hope you will just feast your eyes on them like I did when I was there.
The next article will be about the rest of the trip. so stay tuned!
