Spring All Around

Hello again! I can't believe I have written so many articles about my spring travel already. And I still have loads of pictures to share! My last post was about the palaces and that article is very long. This article will be about the flowers and other beautiful plants we encountered while traveling all over Seoul.
So join me again as we feast our eyes on the beauty of spring through the following pictures!

Everywhere we went, we saw beautiful plants and flowers in bloom! And we just stopped and enjoyed looking at them, as well as taking pictures.

This picture was taken in Bukchon Hanok village, and I just took a picture of this vine along the wall with flowers.

I love how they mix and match the colors to create contrast. Yellows and violets together? Splendid!

This was in Yeouido Park, and the flowers of the rhododendron bushes were almost in full bloom. It would have been a flood of pink if they already were.

This was also in Yeouido Park, and of course the dominant plants we see are the cherry blossoms, but there are also other plants and flowers, that's why I am writing another article entirely for these.

This mini-park is just outside the National Assembly Building in Yeouido, beside the KBS TV station. Don't know what the trees are called though.

You can't help but stop and admire the beauty of the flowers all around.

These perennials are so colorful. I used my iPhone to take most of the pictures and I'm so glad they turned out pretty well.

There were also tulips in different colors and you will get to see them. And they are just on the roadside, for every one to enjoy. In the Philippines we can only see them in flower shops.

How can any one just pass these beauties by without admiring them?

There was just so many varieties and in varying degrees of beauty.

I think this was in Namsangol Park. Have to mix and match as well, trees and plants. :-)

This was taken on the roadside when we were going to Namsan by cable car. I took this picture inside a moving taxi as we were traveling to where we were to take the cable car up.

Yellow tulips this time. Tulips can't grow in the Philippines though.

I wished I had a better camera to capture the images better. But I had to content myself with the iPhone.

I wish I knew their names so that I could also share. :-(

I have seen these flowers in Hong Kong before but I cannot remember their names.

I just love the explosion of different colors in this picture.

Again, in Yeouido. Outside KBS building.

This is one flower I know. They are called snapdragons.

Plant boxes abound on the roadside making it a pleasure to walk.

Now these rhododendrons are already in full bloom and very pink. :-)

Can't help putting in a branch full of cherry blossoms. After all, these are what we wanted to see in the first place. :-)

I put my sunglasses on the rock to make it look like a face and it did! Ha ha.

Not yet in full bloom, taken at night.

Still a bud. Curious as to what color it would have when it finally blooms.

With me as an extra to the beautiful flowers.

So there you have it my friends! So vibrant, so colorful, it was definitely a feast for the eyes! I am definitely going back soon!
