When we travel, we plan ahead. We book our flights early, we plan our itinerary, and we also make sure that our accommodations are booked, that way, months before the actual trip, everything is all set and ready, and all we have to do is get to our destinations and enjoy ourselves.
When we went to Singapore, we stayed at the InterContinental Singapore at Bugis Junction. I have now decided to feature hotels that I stay in from now on as well, I just have to take better pictures next time. :-)
This is the lobby of the hotel. It is conveniently located, and the MRT station can be accessed directly through the mall right next to it.
The whole building looks unpretentious outside, but it looks entirely different once you get inside.
This is the hotel pool, and I enjoyed it everyday we were there, early in the mornings for my daily dose of exercise, or in the evenings to get refreshed from the heat of Singapore's weather.
This is the hotel entrance. The hotel is minutes away from Marina Bay, and is a short walk to the National Museum as well as the Singapore Art Museum.
The pool as seen from our room which is six floors above. That's me and my older sister having the pool to ourselves. :-)
Since Singapore is a tropical country, the water temperature is perfect for swimming any time of the day.
My younger sister and niece were sleepyheads, so it was just me and my older sister who swam every morning.
This is also the lobby, and it looks very clean and inviting, the decor not excessive, but exudes elegance nonetheless.
This is the hallway going to our room. One word to describe it? Clean.
This is our room. We were visited by a relative who works in Singapore while we were there.
The staff are very helpful and accommodating all throughout our stay, which was very commendable. Great service, I must say.
Well, although the pictures are not perfect, here is my very first hotel feature. Please look forward to more hotel features in the future!
