Nishiki and Kuromon Market

Hello again! When you visit another country or a new place, aren't you curious about their foods and their way of life? I know I am, that's why whenever I visit some place new, I try to visit a local market, just to see what kind of produce the locals consume. And so of course, I had to check out a local market during this trip. I wanted a local market, but I couldn't find one, or the other ones I found were happening on certain dates of the month, so I had to settle with the Nishiki market in Kyoto, and the Kuromon market in Osaka, which are frequented by mostly tourists and they say by locals as well. I am putting pictures that I took from both markets, and you be the judge which one you want to go to. Who knows, you might even go to both just like we did. Nishiki Market is within a couple of blocks from the Kawaramachi station of the Hankyu line. I was expecting Nishiki market to be even bigger than Kuromon in Osaka, but was disappointed that it was not.

Wright Park and The Mansion- Baguio City

LATEST UPDATE: Effective August 22, 2019, the processing period has been extended to 10 DAYS, from 7 DAYS before. If you are applying anytime soon, make sure you have enough time. Allot enough for the travel agency to submit and collect your documents and passports. They usually send you a text message to inform you that your passport is ready for pick up.

Attention parents and students! Did you know that President Duterte has signed the Free Tuition Fee Law under Republic Act 10931? If you did not know, then now you do. With this law, education has now become available not just to those financially able, but to every Filipino who dreams of finishing school. The free tuition fee program started in the first semester of the academic year 2017-2018 after Deputy Executive Director of Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Nicholas Tenazas announced the implementing rules and regulations, and will be in full effect starting school year 2018- 2019. There are 8 State Univercities and Colleges in Metro Manila, 49 in the rest of the Luzon, 26 in Visayas and 31 in Mindanao. The list of SUCs totals 114, as there are three entries for Mindano State University(MSU)- including the MSU Iligan Institute of Technology and the MSU Tawi-tawi College of Technology and Oceanography.
